Bhumi is an independent, youth volunteer non-profit organisation which was established in 2006. Bhumi volunteers help to educate and mentor the underprivileged across the country to give them a better future, which will benefit them as well as the country. The learning experience is mutual, our volunteers gain perspective and the experience to mould themselves into tomorrow’s leader. Event: Bhumi is organizing ‘CYCLATION 2018’ to support the education of underprivileged children while promoting fitness. According to census of 2011, 1 in 4 children of school-going age is out of school in our country - 99 million children in total have dropped out of school. While promoting physical and environmental benefits of cycling, Bhumi volunteers are also trying to put a helping hand for these children for whom basic education is of utmost importance.
